Maris is currently hiring across multiple positions, including this Senior Controls Engineer role.

• Manage production of various types of equipment and systems
• Determine customer needs to develop project specifications and scope
• Consistently research, test, and analyze ideas for system and process improvements while meeting safety and quality standards
• Hardware & Electrical design (AutoCAD/AutoCAD Elec), Pneumatic design
• Select components and create a bill of materials
• Troubleshoot and coordinates with team in order to determine problems and implement solutions
• Programming/debugging, specifically robot and vision (Cognex, Keyence)
• Set up industrial networks (Ethernet, Devicenet, Serial, etc.)
• Work with Allen Bradley PLC’s (Studio 5000 family), PanelView HMIs, touch screen PC based HMIs, Servos, VFDs, IA, and other brand positioners

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of pneumatics
• Strong knowledge of Automation systems and integrating them with a PLC/ HMI Control Package
• Ability to reverse engineer ladder logic (To integrate / retrofit existing equipment)
• Knowledge / use of data collection systems
